• Job Type: Locum tenens / travel CRNA / temporary anesthesia provider
• Location: Silver City, NM (88061-7251) — New Mexico anesthesia jobs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,922 – $7,692
• Start Date: June 22, 2026
• Assignment Dates: Multiple blocks available through January 2027
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Call Schedule: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM every 4th night and every 4th weekend (30-minute response time required)
• Team Model: All CRNA practice (4 providers)
• Credentialing: 30–60 days (temporary privileges available with clear background and malpractice history)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience required (locum tenens or permanent CRNA experience accepted)
• Active, unrestricted CRNA license (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
• DEA and CSR required
• All certifications must be AHA issued (including NRP)
• Proof of proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks (case logs required)

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse case mix: endoscopy, obstetrics (OB) anesthesia, gynecology (GYN), general surgery, orthopedics, and limited acute pain management
• Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional nerve blocks as required (regional anesthesia proficiency expected)
• Participate in call rotation and respond within the required 30-minute timeframe
• Maintain accurate case logs and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with fellow CRNAs and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care across perioperative and obstetric settings
